The post I've been waiting to write for so long!

WE HAVE CLEARED THE ETHIOPIAN EMBASSY!!!  Yes, you read that correctly!  We'll be leaving soon to pick up our Hayes Beruk Wayman!

I checked my phone from bed this morning at 6:30 (as I've done every day for over a week!) and saw an email that made my heart sing!  I had an email from our agency in which the subject read: "Your case has cleared the embassy."  I immediately burst into tears.  My poor unsuspecting husband said "WHAT?!"  I kept crying and finally managed to choke out "He's coming home!"

We immediately began calling and texting friends and family.  What a wake up call right?!

We don't know the exact date yet (we were given 4 Embassy appointment times  and ranked them in our top 3 choices).  So our Embassy appointment will be some time Monday to Thursday of NEXT WEEK!  After that we'll be able to bring our little guy home.  We'll definitely keep you guys updated.  We'd love to see our Nashville peeps at the airport homecoming!

I can't even believe it!  We'll be able to pick up baby boy so soon!  I can't wait to see this smiling face again!!!

Confession: I was so excited all morning that when I went to meet a couple of friends for lunch I realized I had forgotten to brush my teeth!  I've never done that, so you know I was excited!

What a day!

(If you'd like to help us bring that sweet face home and get an awesome Ugandan necklace at the same time, check out this link.  Every dollary helps!  We appreciate it greatly!)

My Boy is WAY too cute!

We were so excited on Wednesday to get 28 new pictures of our little guy!  I won't bore you by posting ALL of them, but of course this proud mama had to share a few!

He loves his nanny!

I just want to kiss this face!

He can hold his head up now!  He couldn't do that when we were there!

LOVE this shot of him in his highwaters!

So much personality!

This one might be m favorite.  Angelic!

Want to help bring this precious face home?  Head over to A Charity Project .  In addition to bringing this sweet face home, the first 25 people to donate $25 or more will get one of the popular Ugandan magazine bead necklaces.

Want to help out but can't give?  Feel free to share this link (http://www.acharityproject.com/f/BringHayesHome) on your blog, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Thank you and Happy Friday to everyone!
